Yes. A very indie thing for favorite Fridays. But the comeback to Lps is a beautiful thing. In a age where music is a fast click away and all sounds are produced to perfection. Lps offer an alternative to the rush and perfection, do not get me wrong I love my downloads, and my iphone while waiting for a train, but to come home sit on the sofa with a coffee and maybe a piece of tiramius. To look through all the beautiful cover art and find the right album, remove it from the sleeve, and then place the needle ever so careful is more the just listening to music. Its experiencing it.
Since getting Daniel the LP, I have discover a new little world. Going down to the record store in town, searching and hoping to find something good. Coming home and taking time just to listen, to the imperfections, to the needle, and waiting patiently to flip it over and heard the b-side.
